So I took the opportunity to begin to look Survivors in their first DVD version in Italian.
So far, from December 27, 6 dvd are out, with two episodes per disc and, therefore, we are at the end of the first season.
I, the survivors, I saw them in black and white on Swiss Italian TV, then I would say between 1975 and 1977 (color television "came" to my house until January 1978).
And I saw the transmission of only two seasons translated into Italian on RAI because when I was sent to do military service.
For me, therefore, is the first time I come to watch the drama (never repeated) after the single vision of 75-77 and I was not sure the reality was that corresponds to the myth of memory. So I
" discovered" that, unlike other dramas "legendary" (eg A for Andromeda), the survivors were color products.
But most importantly, I rediscovered the pleasure of a transmission that fascinated me then and continues to more than thirty years later, to keep alive the attention and tension in the viewer. The opening theme
, then, has all the chill of a situation such as that described by the drama.
The scientist who has an accident in the laboratory but, not knowing, leads around the world the deadly virus.

The first deaths. The same
soundtrack fits perfectly and raises the tension that wants to be a characteristic of all the drama.
I have not reviewed all the episodes so far released DVDs, but if I make a piece of advice is: do not miss this collection .
The commitment is to produce all the original three seasons, for a total of 19 DVDs. The third season
is, for me, a true unknown. After
, we hope to see in Italy also the second series, produced in 2008 in England , which I hope will be a remake of an original height is difficult to beat.
