The theme of this edition is 'Stars and Planets', and the light overcomes the darkness of fear and disillusionment, universes relazionali ricchi di una nuova armonia cosmica declinata con figure mitologiche, fiori splendenti, cascate di cristalli, linee originali.
Un messaggio ecologico, artistico, sociale, etico molto forte quello scelto per “Luci d?Artista 2010” dal Comune di Salerno che così punta ad aumentare ulteriormente l’attrazione di una città ricca d’arte, storia, cultura, artigianato ed enogastronomia.”””
Non mancano le critiche. Anna Ferrazzano, vice presidente della Provincia, candidata anti-De Luca alle prossime comunali, ha detto: “L’annuale performance festaiola, promossa da un Comune sull’orlo della bancarotta con il sudore dei contribuenti, ha già revealed his profound contradiction. The city has become a casbah. (...) I think that Salerno did not deserve to find themselves prisoners of this showcase ephemeral but to come out of the toll gates in the subsystem which, for more than fifteen years, are forced to live in a backward, reactionary and outside flows of real artistic and cultural merits. "
Note the protest ("Author's Forum") Elvira Morena District Council Salerno Center:
"Portanova, also known as Porta San Matteo (eastern entrance of Salerno, of medieval origin with eighteenth-century makeover. Of the ancient city gates the only survivor of the attacks of time, wars and earthquakes ...) was pickaxe, drill holes with strokes for affixing the bracket to festoon light in Piazza Flavio Gioia. The damage is permanent. The hole is not a simple lesion caused intentionally to a good town, but the symbol of cultural degradation, insensitivity to the city in its more "intimate" and representative (...). "
